Why I play airsoft - since 2015

Teamplay

Having a goal (capture the enemy flag), working in a team, advancing and progressing towards a communal goal, failing, learning, and achieving the goals through communication just feels great.

Being outdoors

On playing days, walking 20.000 steps, being in the fresh open air, is just fulfilling.

The experience

Before airsoft, I played Call of Duty and Battlefield videogames in a team, where we did exactly the same thing. Through communication we were able to reach goals which were unobtainable by just rushing alone.
Now, with the same group of friends or just random people on the airsoft field I experience the same confidence and rush to achieve goals and having a good time.

AEG, bought in 2015, upgraded some parts in 2022. It's not the best one out there, it's just reliable.

It was on sale
Spring-powered, shoots 3 bb's each shot. Feels flimsy after a few games. Fun, but not for serious games.

AEG, super lightweight, sharp, snappy, accurate. Would definitly buy a 2nd one.

AEG. Looks like an LMG, but's it's just a normal AR with better looks.
I play with STANAG-mags, I just want to look badass.

CO2. I just love M9's. Got three mags, no leaks.

AEP - For playing outdoors these are fantastic. Lightweight, mags hold 30 bb's, good enough on close quarters when the big replica's are not.

Can't remember the brand.
Spring powered, bought for fun and removed the weights, super accurate within 15mtrs.

Bought 2nd hand
CO2, the owner quit airsoft, was super carefull with it and so am I. Fun in the field, not practical.

CO2, shoots too hot for skirms, fun to shoot outside skirms. Accurate, reliable, never failed me.

Umarex P99 Kidz version

Springer. I bought this one before starting airsoft.
Started shooting paper in the attic, just to see if I was still interested after a couple of uses.
